Summer Sketchbook 2015

A few selected pages from my Summer Sketchbook Project, where we were tasked to fill an entire A5 sketchbook with observational & location drawings. As shown above, I tried to experiment with cut-outs and experimenting with the formation/ sequencing of the sketchbook.

As with any drawing, I feel like I do improve every time- especially drawing people from observation; it is something that I find quite difficult.

This summer project has proved that by keeping a sketchbook at hand, and drawing on location consistently is always good practice within illustration.
